A Financing Institution in the Co-operative Sector in the name “The Bhavasara Kshatriya Co-operative Society Ltd., has started in the year 1916 to alleviate the great hardship and clinching pecuniary problems of the kith & kin in and around Bengaluru City. 

Pithamaha Sri.B.S Ranoji Rao along with equally noble people like Sriyuths Samaja Mitra V.M Dhondoji Rao Phutane, K.P. Siddoji Rao, Sri Pissay Nanjappa Rao, Sri.Akkanni Rao etc., pioneered the issue with hardly 30 members and housed in one of the member’s house, which later on shifted to a rented shop. 

The great gospel of “all for one and one for all” philosophy of co-operation was put into practice, strength of those who visualized this grew steadily and the society could go to the rescue of several families and saved them from devastation. In 1916, when the society was established, there were only 30 members with share amounting to 8 Rupees 12 Paise only.
